What is checked
EverLume offers residential rooftop solar to Illinois homeowners on ComEd. The first of the four steps already on the homepage is the qualify check: the roof, usage, and the ComEd bill.
The roof is the structure. Orientation, shade, and condition matter. This page does not publish a pitch cutoff, a shade score, or a minimum square footage. Those numbers are not proven public facts.
Usage is what the house actually uses. A bill that does not match the roof is a reason to stop, not a reason to force a system.
The ComEd bill is the utility proof this market requires. A city name is not proof. A ZIP code is not proof. Cook County is out of market. Indiana is out of market. Naperville, Batavia, and St. Charles are municipal electric and are not treated as ComEd without address proof. Oak Brook is DuPage parcels only.
Some roofs are not a fit
Some houses are not a fit, and EverLume will say so. That sentence is already on the homepage. This page exists so the looking job is not only a button.
A house can fail because the roof is wrong, because the usage does not support an array, or because the bill is not ComEd. A house can also fail because the homeowner would be better off buying a system with cash, or because the homeowner should not buy solar at all. EverLume would rather say the wrong thing now than talk a house into the wrong structure.
Battery storage is included when it is needed or wanted. It is not the lead offer, and it is not a way to rescue a roof that does not qualify.
What happens after the check
If the house may be a fit, the next step is numbers in writing: the actual rate and the actual bill, next to what the house pays now, before anyone is asked to sign. There is no deadline attached. Nothing has to be signed to see those numbers.
If the house is not a fit, the path ends there. This page will not invent a waitlist, a second product, or a backup offer.
Permits, equipment, inspection, and monitoring come only after numbers and an agreement. They are handled by EverLume. This page does not publish a permit time.
The homeowner buys the power the roof makes. The panels and the battery stay with EverLume for the term of the agreement, with a buyout option after five years. If the house is later sold, the agreement transfers.
